Moon nods and grins. "Well you should know how to protect your family once you get one, an make sure you respect any stallions that are assigned to you, since we are in a human territory. If we get bak to the wild, the mares take care of the herd and the stallion is only there to make the herd bigger and keep other stallions for separating the family."

Moon shrugs a little. "Some horses aren't into the whole herd thing at a ranc. They are more attached the the humans. So it's all just a little differet."
